Just coming round this morning from a good night out with a couple of fine vodka cocktails at the SuperDesign launch party. Now in it's 5th year, the show is being held at The Dairy, Kings Cross/ Bloomsbury (one of our favourite parts of town) and is an exhibition which "seeks to emphasise the current synergy between design and the visual arts". This is an exhibition of specially commissioned studio pieces by both well known and emerging designers. Whilst some of the pieces are a bit on the high end glitzy side for our tastes, we did come across some interesting lights by Marcus Tremonto
and a low bench? by Brodie Neill which looks like it's been inspired by a surf board? (would it be stereotyping to mention he hails from Australia?)
The show runs until 17th October.
