One of the original god fathers of modernism at the Tate

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to be briefly shown round the Van Doesburg exhibition at the Tate just before they closed the doors.  What a great exhibition of a very prolific writer, artist, designer and editor. I was amazed at the body of work that he'd been involved in, from founder and chief spokesman of the De Stijl group to his  collaborations with artist and architects such as Piet Mondrian and Gerrit Rietveld to name but a few.  Well worth a visit and I might even pop back myself... van-doesburg
